RARE Daisy Swirly Black Doll Velvet Crissy Cousin Box Original Outfit Works HTF. Up for your consideration is this Hard to Find HTF RARE Beautiful Velvet Doll with her Original box and still has the Daisy Swirl that attatches to her growing hair. Grow hair still works, push the button on her tummy and it you may grow her hair out. Turn the Key knob on the back and that shortens her hair. The rubber like Daisy swirl accessory ; inserts into her top on the pony tail and then you can adjsut it to make fun hair styles ; see pictures.

This version of Velvet (cousin to Crissy grow hair doll) is the black version and so, so very hard to find ; we could not find another like this on the internet or the Ideal doll books. This doll does not even look played with her hair is still long and the dress and pants even the shoes look new. Her rubber shoes are pink to accent her Dress with purple velvet bodice and bow of purple, green, pink ; snaps in back for easy redress, matching panties with lace ; very 70's Mod era. Dress is marked hong Kong, Velvet and ideal logo.

Shoes are marked with an L and and R and the numbers 5199-01. The back of her neck reads ; 1969 Ideal toy Corp and #GH-15-H-157 ; Her back reads ; 1971 Ideal Toy Corpmg-15 US pat.

Pend; her rear reads the same with more numbers 2M-5317-02. She measures 15 tall, Long black hair with shine, her sleep eyes still work and her face has the beautiful pink lips, check color is good and her eye brows are great too.

She has jointed arms of vinyl with individual fingers. Body and legs are plastic. Flaws we really don't see any on the Doll, other than the Rubber Daisy hair swirl shows its age at the top where you insert into the head ; perhaps you have a way of securing it or making it stronger.
