Very Rare TUDOR Oyster Prince Vintage Automatc Explorer/Ranger Dial 35mm Steel

US and Canada Buyers only please. Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Tudor Oyster-Prince, automatic movement in stainless steel case. The matte dial looks amazing and features the vintage Tudor small rose logo, and the indices have aged to a very attractive creamy texture. Keeping very good time and starts right up, winds and sets smoothly as well.

The balanced dial design with Mercedes hands has since become iconic as evident in Explorers, Rangers, and the heritage reissues inspired by its look. One of the photos shows how well this fits right in with any modern collection. There is normal wear, but I'd say the watch is in excellent vintage condition as apparent in the high-resolution photos. The stainless steel case is in good shape and looks to have been lightly polished in the past.

I took a close photo shown and it looks like the reference number begins with 9052 but it's somewhat hard to see for sure. Otherwise, the piece looks to be all original, with correct Rolex signed caseback and crown (of course in this era Tudor appeared on the dial but the brand used Rolex parts).

There are scratches on the caseback; they've never bothered me. I have had this serviced once and know that the movement is authentic and signed Tudor Auto-prince, but don't have tool to open the caseback so unfortunately do not have a photo at the time. I have seen it myself and guarantee this, and encourage you to verify at a watchmaker/jeweler if you choose. Overall this is a lovely watch with an enduring design in true vintage proportions.
