1910 Vintage Antique Lace Hand Made Wedding Dress Gown all lace RARE
This is a very rare, one of a kind, all hand made lace dress. There are many types of lace here, very intricate, and ornate. This dress could be wearable with a little fitting, and TLC. There are a number of spots, see close ups. The lace is in good condition. The dress is lined with sheer, netting, and closes with hooks in the back. Some of the hooks are missing.
This garment came from an old New Orleans family that lived in the same houses, next door to each other, for about 300 years. I believe this is made of generations of lace, hand made by the women.
The style and cut of the dress is so sweet, truly beautiful. This could be the most EPIC wedding gown with some work by a talented seamstress. I have never seen a lace dress as beautiful as this. Some spots, some missing hooks, and may need some stitches here and there.It was the type of a wedding dress one was sewn into! It is small, see the measurements below. Length in all - 54.
