C1900-1910s Edwardian True Antique Wedding Gown Vintage Ivory Silk Dress RARE
CREAM COLORED SILK WITH LACE OVERLAY. LOTS OF FINE DETAILS AND EMBELLISHMENTS INCLUDING WIDE SATIN BAND TRIM, and LARGE LACE APPLIQUÉ DOWN THE CENTER FRONT. CONDITION: ANTIQUE CONDITION WITH NOTABLE ISSUES: Silk fabric has become thin and delicate with age and needs professional heirloom dry cleaning. Yellowing (this gown was likely an ivory when new, these do tend to yellow with age so it has taken on more of a golden hue).This has been stored indoors in a closet for last 50 years, but does have some storage smell. Tiny spots, primarily along the hemline-refer to last photo for most predominant Notable Issues. Hook and eye closures down the back.
Some raw edges along the cuffs and collar, refer to last photo. I attempt to present all damage by describing and photographing it but sometimes little things get by me.Items are sourced from local estate auctions, and business liquidations. Items will have some wear as to be expected with used goods. Please read the description and look at pictures carefully as all items will be as described. Measurements are taken to the best of our ability, but there may be a 5-10% variation. Please remember that colors photograph and can display differently depending on the camera and/or the computer.
