Originally designed to be a standard carpentry hammer the hammer featured a unique wrap around "claw" which added rigidity to the hammer handle... Edges / Faces are crisp, clean, and sharp.... Hammer features a beautiful 11 1/2 polished handle that fits tight and firm... Overall length of the head is 4 1/2", Striking Face is 1 1/8" across, and Total Weight is 1.2lbs.... A nice Hammer such as this is a "MUST HAVE" for any blacksmith / carpenter or tool collector!
