Each of the bookcase sections are the hard to find oversize G-D sections with one being a GD-14 which has an interior height of 12" tall and a depth of 11 1/2". The other two sections are GD-16 with height's of 14" and depths of 11 1/2". It's very difficult to find these oversize bookcase sections for very large books. All of the bookcase sections have their original labels as does the underside of the top cap.
Inside one of the file sections on a side support is a faint GW stamp inside a circle. All of the sections have the desirable paneled sides which really set this cabinet off with those raised panels. So, altogether there are 7 sections to this piece.
The base, two file sections and then three bookcase units and finally the top cap. I don't know when you will find another Globe Wernicke combination like this again! Please check out all of my other barrister bookcases as well as other antique office items. I must be doing something right.
