Rare Antique Vintage 1920s Men's Leather Football Rugby Soccer Cleats
A really nice and rare pair of 1920s leather field cleats likely used for Rugby, Soccer or Football. Warm dark rich patina to the leather with original show laces still intact. The size is marked 7 1/2. It's interesting to see the construction of the numerous nails on the bottoms with thick metal spikes. There is even old field grass encrusted around the spikes to add authenticity when these were last used many decades ago. Measures 10.5 inches from back of heel to toe, 3.5 inches wide and 5.5 inches high. No longer wearable, a neat display item for a sports themed room or man cave.
