Rare Antique / Vintage Art Glass 3 Color Czech Bead Necklace Black Blue Purple
Rare art glass bead Art Deco necklace. Most eye-catching tri-color art glass beads. These are the neatest beads I have seen in a long time - possibly the most unique ever. Layered black, periwinkle or chicory blue, and a deep dark amethyst purple. Hand knotted in-between each bead in case of breakage so you don't loose a single one of these special little irreplaceable masterpieces. Ready and waiting for your neckline, special outfit, collection, and/or gift giving. ESTIMATED AGE OR ERA = True antique / vintage piece - guessing 1920's to 1930's in age. METAL AND/OR MATERIAL = Unique art glass beads - guessing Czech or European in origin, filigree or flower shaped findings appear to be brass or brass toned metal and the turn barrel clasp has more of a gold toned finish. CLOSURE/CLASP = Turn screw barrel clasp. MARKS = None that I could find. MEASUREMENTS = The necklace is aprox 28" long - the beads are each hand made and vary ever so slightly in size - but there looks to be three or four basic shapes and sizes - ranging from being round and about 3/8" long to the largest elongated oval or barrel shaped beads being 1 1/8 long.
US RING SIZE = x. CONDITION = Great vintage condition - given the age and rarity. There is negligible amounts of random tarnish and/or corrosion on some of the filigree cap findings. I haven't tried to clean this at all. No broken or badly damaged that I found (just some gentle wear) and the clasp is in good working shape.
In an excellent state of preservation overall. A picture is worth a thousand words. Please view & enlarge photographs to closely inspect fine details and to determine the amount of patina and/or wear.Most older pieces by nature normally have some degree of both and, unless severe, aren't considered damaged and not mentioned. Individuals do have varying levels of desire and tolerance for "vintage charm" so do utilize the scroll arrows beside the photos to allow yourself the opportunity to view them all, as they are an integral part and extension of the description.
