Rare Breitling 18KT /SS World Time Pilots Watch Vintage Men's Watch 4 Time Zones
World Timer Vintage 4 Time Zone Watch. SKU # 80840 / 3160. This watch is from mid 1980's. It has been serviced twice by Breitling and recently at local jeweler. No scratches, Dents or Dings.
Center 6 o'clock: 12 Hour Dial with second hand and date. 12, 3 & 9 o'clock dials are 24 Hour Dials. Recently the 6 time zone has had the battery and coil replaced. The ratchet dual directional bezel has been replaced and has great tension.
You lift it if needed to turn. THE BAD: The 3 o'clock time zone needs an new movement, the battery replacement did not work. Breitling has NO MORE parts either in Connecticut or Switzerland.
It was recommend that a Swiss ETA movement can be installed but will take 8-12 weeks so i decided to retire this old girl. If you are a collector you will appreciate this watch and spend the few dollars and time to make it right. Comes from non-smoking , pet free home.
I have extensive watch collections and this watch has been a staple that is now hopefully going to someone who truly appreciates the classics. I do not have the original box or papers but have i do have the Breitling service box as pictured.
