Rare Tudor Oyster Prince Vintage Automatic Explorer/Ranger Dial 35mm Steel
Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Tudor Oyster Prince, automatic movement in stainless steel case. The matte dial looks amazing and features the vintage Tudor small rose logo while the indices have aged to a very attractive creamy texture. Keeping very good time and starts right up, winds and sets smoothly as well. The balanced dial design with Mercedes hands has since become iconic as evident in Explorers, Rangers, and the Heritage reissues inspired by its look. The stainless steel case is in good shape and looks to have been lightly polished in the past. The reference number begins with 9052 but it is hard to see for sure. Otherwise, the piece looks to be all original, with correct Rolex signed case back and crown (the vintage Tudor at that time used Rolex parts). There are scratches on the case back.
Overall this is a lovely watch with an enduring design in true vintage proportions. The watch band is a generic brown leather band and buckle.
