This wildly unusual zippered fabric handbag features colorful embroidered and sequined insects. It is believed to have been created in the late 1940s by ELSA. Schiaparelli was the queen of avant-garde fashion, and insects and unusual shapes were common and reoccurring themes in her work. A Schiaparelli label is in the interior, but it is loose from the bag.
