GOLDEN FLORAL AND WHITE, TREE OF LIFE. This wonderful tree of life quilt is all hand pieced and hand quilted, with small triangular pieces measuring one inch on each of their three edges. The goldish or tan floral triangles create trees and this was a popular design in the American Midwest many years ago. The family lived in Minnesota and Iowa and it is likely from one of those two locations.

The quilt measures approximately 71" X 75" and is in overall fair condition, with a few of the trees having triangles that could be mended or left as is. I have included photos of those areas as they are shown in the last photos of the listing. Please study the photos to make certain that this will fit your applications as a picture is worth a thousand words. The quilting is superb Americana, and we haven't clean it or made any repairs.

It is very much like it was when put away some time in the 1940s and remained there until discovered this month. We are unable to determine the age and we are not experts in quilts.

We have put an approximate age on as late 19th century but we would appreciate your input so that we can better determine the date which is unknown. The DETAILED PIECED DESIGN and LUSH HAND QUILTING make this ANTIQUE COLLECTOR'S QUILT stand out! A wonderful mural to be wall displayed and enjoyed or a keepsake to be cherished.
