Stunning Rare Pre Heuer Leonidas Landeron 248 Gold Capped Chronograph Watch
Rare Gold Capped Pre Heuer Leonidas Landeron 248 Manual Wind Chronograph Watch. The watch is running really well, keeping accurate time and the chronograph functions are working & resetting correctly. This watch is a real survivor and is in great condition it looks hardly used with none of the gold wearing even on the lugs.
Beautiful unmarked light silver which changes along with the light. Leonidas logo under the 12 o'clock position in black lettering. Blue Tachymeter scale around the inside of the dial with markers from 1000 through to 60 and 10th of second fractions in-between. Two small dials at the 3 o'clock & 9 o'clock positions. The 3 o'clock dial is for the chronograph minutes & the 9 o'clock dial is a small second dial.
Gold Needle Chronograph second hand is currently settled at the 12 o'clock start position plus gold luminous minute and hour hands. Incabloc lettering above the 6 o'clock position in black with a T below this. Small "swiss" lettering below the 6 o'clock position. Case / Case Back and Glass.Gold capped case is in excellent condition with little wear to the gold. There are two gold chronograph pushers either size of the gold crown - little visible wear to the pushers or crown. The higher chronograph pusher starts and starts the chronograph and the lower chronograph resets the chronograph. The case back is in excellent condition and has the Number 477518 inside the case.
The acrylic glass is again in excellent condition with no visible scratches. The watch is 37mm including the crown. Leonidas Landeron 248 manual wind movement one of the most reliable made in Switzerland. This watch is keeping accurate time and the functions are all working correctly.
A free leather strap with Gold coloured clasp have been added to this watch. The strap and buckle are in excellent condition with few noticeable marks. Please note they are NOT the original strap / clasp that this watch originally had when new. Please be aware that there may be small marks that I have not noticed - this is a Vintage used watch after all.
