Vintage mughal rare indo persian sikh dagger kirpan khanjar with gold damascened. It's blade is made of damascus and has a gold handcrafted desing with chevron lehriya blade pattern. The sheath is made of iron and is decorated with gold koftgari damascening with floral designs in gold work.
The hilt is made in the shape of a deer running which has horns and front legs covered in gold. The gold work on the handle is outlined by a silver border to show as a rope is tied to the running deer. A true craftsmaenship on this dagger and completely damascened with pure gold. Overall a very beautiful intricate and rare dagger up for sale.
