This listing is for a set of vintage Sun-Slatz Sunglasses with Inserts in Red / Orange. This pair of Sun-Slatz Sunglasses is in very good condition. Sun-Slatz Inserts were available in several colors. I think the Inserts in this pair would be considered Red even though they're closer to Orange.

Vintage Sun-Slatz sunglasses have become increasingly difficult to find and they're just so much fun for anyone who appreciates retro style. Wouldn't these be great for someone who has a classic car and enjoys cruising! Sun-Slatz sunglasses were manufactured in South Bend, Indiana by New Products Enterprises, Inc. In, I believe, the 1950's. The back of the original boxes had an illustration showing the ease of changeover as different colored Inserts snap in and out.

The back of the boxes also list the colors the frames were done in - Ivory, Silver Grey, Beige and Black as well as the colors the interchangeable inserts were done in - Red, Pink, Coral, Black, Green, Brown, Royal Blue and Powder Blue. Please use the photos to gauge condition.

Because these Sun-Slatz Sunglasses have been in storage for 50+ years, you'll notice they smell like antique plastic and may benefit from airing or a spritz of Febreze.
